MORE FISHING & ACTIVITIES
There are many activities to enjoy during
every season. Local activities include fly fishing, hiking,
mountain biking, golf and rafting. Evergreen lake has paddle
boats in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Skiing
and snowboarding is only 45 minutes to 1 hour away . . . while
you can snow shoe or cross country ski right in Evergreen.
Rental equipment for any of these sports is available close
by.

You can also simply relax on your porch and listen to the
stream. If you want to be pampered, there's a wonderful
spa in Evergreen called Tall Grass, (www.tallgrassspa.com).

You can enjoy the wildlife year round
right on our propery. Elk and deer can often be seen walking
through the property - one guest even asked us how long we'd
had our "pets" . . . she meant the elk . . . no, they are
wild.

space parks in Evergreen with wonderful hiking trails ...

other "residents" and always make for much enjoyment - for
young and old alike!
With the Mile High City only 40 minutes away, there are
major sport teams, a renovated Downtown district with shops
and galleries, shopping, museums, etc.

Day trip locations include: Rocky Mountain
National Forest, Vail, Breckenridge, Lake Dillon, historic
Georgetown, and much more. There are many scenic drives that
are especially lovely in the fall when the aspen leaves turn
color.
